Sometimes, it’s difficult to find your furnace filter(s). This video, taken at a recent home inspection in Anacortes on Fidalgo Island, describes where the filters are located and how to replace. Your home inspector should have identified and filters, inspected, and brought to your attention their location. Oftentimes, filters are located within the furnace cabinet itself, and up high. These can be somewhat difficult to change, but with a little practice, it’s quite manageable. Replacement every 3+- months is advised, ensuring that the ARROW on the filter points in the direction of the furnace.
